Masala Papad Recipe:Rajasthani and Dhaba style

When guests arrive at home, be sure to try it as a snack. It’s commonly served as a starter or snack. Today, we’ll prepare the Rajasthani-style Masala Papad recipe at home. The Masala Papad recipe is everyone’s favorite. Let’s learn how to make it.
Ingredients:
To make masala papad, we’ll need the following ingredients 1.Papads: 5-6 (preferably urad dal papads, but any type will work)
2.Onion: 1 medium, finely chopped
3.Tomato: 1 medium, finely chopped
4.Green chilies: 1-2, finely chopped
5.Fresh coriander leaves: A handful, finely chopped
6.Lemon juice: 2 tablespoons
7.Chaat masala: 1 teaspoon
8.Red chili powder: 1/2 teaspoon
9.Salt: To taste
Oil: For frying (if you prefer) or ghee for roasting mediam namkin ya bujiya
Preparation steps: 1.First, we’ll roast the papad over the flame until it becomes crisp on both sides, flipping it frequently to avoid burning. 2.You can also prepare the papad in the microwave. Place it on a microwave-safe plate and microwave it on high for 40 to 50 seconds. Be careful not to overcook to avoid burning. 3.Heat a skillet or griddle and place the papad on it. Press it gently with a cloth or spatula and flip it repeatedly until it becomes crispy. Making a Masala Papad: Now let’s make masala papad. First, we’ll chop the onion into medium-sized pieces and then the tomato into the same size. We’ll also finely chop the green chilies.Wash the coriander leaves thoroughly and extract the lemon juice. First, clean the coriander leaves with water, then mix lemon juice, chaat masala, red chili powder, and salt to taste. Combine all the spices well to ensure they are evenly mixed. After mixing all the ingredients, place the mixture on top of the papads.
To prepare papad, we will also use Barik namkeen or Barik bhujiya as a topping.
